Tom Brady vs Joe Burrow rookie cards? (Updated)

Who would you rather buy right now Tom Brady rookie cards or Joe Burrow rookie cards?

The answer is complex for a number of reasons; injury issues with Burrow, Tom Brady is in his last year, and are we talking a long term investment or a short-term investment.

If we are talking short term the Tom Brady rookie card is as no brainer as Joe Burrow has a long way to go until he can ever change the underwear on Tom Brady.

But if were talking ROI in terms of the next 2 or 3 years you might want to give Burrow a chance as those are the times when a player's rookie cards can go up by 50%, 100%, 200%, maybe even 1000%! Yes, we have seen this happen and recently... check out Luka Doncic rookie cards before his second year and then look at the price of those same cards after his 2nd year is over... you will cry while wondering why you didn't by his Opulence rookie card or Nationa Treasures /99 RC.

If we had some money to burn and wanted to take a chance on Burrow knowing we could very well lose it all we would buy Burrow of Brady BUT if we wanted to play it safe and know the value of the Brady rookie card will never go down to zero plus you still have a chance of a big Super Bowl jump than we are putting out cash on Captain America... cheers!

Short-term investments might be a different story as Joe Burrow's rookie cards might go through the roof next year of he has another hot start.
